About Me

I am an artist who specializes in creating custom murals and painted designs. I am a native Ohioan and attended Miami University of Oxford, Ohio. While at Miami, I began working in the scene shop of their theatre and eventually became charge scenic artist. I graduated from Miami with my B.S. in Art Education. In 2001, I moved to Madison, Wisconsin with my husband. While in Madison, I earned my MA in Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilities. I have also volunteered and worked with VSA Arts of Wisconsin. This organization provides arts programming for individuals with disabilities. In 2008, we moved to Ohio where I continue painting murals and canvases and teach kindergarten through eighth grade Art. I am also looking forward to teaching two Summer Art Workshops with the Columbus Museum of Art again this summer. Thank you for visiting my website!
